About the Community of Wayzata

The charming community 11 miles west of Minneapolis is located on the northeast shores of Lake Minnetonka. Though it is small, Wayzata is the center of a sizable and growing trade area, with a number of specialty shops, boutiques, professional services and restaurants. Wayzata also claims some of the metro area's most prestigious addresses. For many years it has been the city of choice for the Twin Cities' most influential business and community leaders. With Lake Minnetonka as its front door, Wayzata's leisure activities focus primarily on water. The community's downtown is brimming with a variety of local stores and restaurants, upon which residents have come to depend on for both quality and service.
