About the Community of Shorewood

Located in the western suburbs, about 25 minutes from Minneapolis, Shorewood is a residential community and has extensive shoreline along Lake Minnetonka and Christmas Lake. It has five parks, totalling approximately 90 acres, which features picnic areas, playground equipment, tennis courts, ball fields, and walking trails. In addition, the city has a basketball court, a beach and facilities for ice skating adn skateboarding.
